The Napoleon I Museum (1986)

The Napoleon I Museum brought together an exceptional collection of furniture, objets d’art, paintings, sculptures, gold and silverware, arms, costumes, ceramics, documents and historical artefacts from the imperial family, displayed in the Louis XV Wing of the Château de Fontainebleau. Mounted within the former princes’ apartments, it paints a portrait of Napoleon the emperor and his ruling relatives in Europe between 1804 and 1815.

In cause of upgrade and reorganization of collections works, the Napoleon Ist museum is closed from May, 22th to December 1st 2017 included. Thank you for your understanding.
